Our Oxford barbershop has been serving the city since 1932, proudly carrying nearly a century of tradition. In 2016, Craig became the sixth owner to take the helm, guiding the shop into a new era while preserving its timeless character and authentic energy.

Located in the heart of Oxford, our Central store reflects the city’s constant hustle and buzz. The shop is led by Store Manager Allan Smith, a man full of charm who has been part of Youngmans since the very beginning of this new chapter.

Head barber, Store Manager & Legend

ALLAN

Oxford store manager Allan has worked at Youngmans from the start. The store wouldn't be what it is today without him. He has built up an extremely loyal clientele.

As you can see, his forte is beards. In his spare time he'll be enjoying a coffee, pumping iron or pampering his beloved 6(!!!) cats.

You can find Allan in-store 5 days a week.

CRAIG

Craig moved back to his hometown Oxford in 2016 to re-brand a historic barber shop in the center of the City. 7 years on Youngmans Oxford 1932 has four stores, an amazing team of barbers & an expanding product bussiness. He has been featured in Tatler & GQ magazine, Showcased his skills at events all over the world (even in the arctic circle!) and has managed some of London’s most prestigious barber shops including locations in Liberty London & Covent Garden. Craig has over 15 years of experience in barbering, He’s a keen music fan, weekend musician and avid Oxford United fan.

Lauren has been part of the hair industry for the past 13 years. Passionate about hair and a good chat! Lauren has extensive knowledge in all aspects of barbering and enjoy making the client feel pampered and refreshed. Outside work Laruen enjoys travel, spending time with her children and holistic practices.

You can find Lauren in store on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
